I began this project in the spring of 2008 after finding a studio in Marietta, Ohio. My plan is to do a large series of portraits of some of the people who live here. I am fascinated by people and love drawing and painting portraits.

Shila was my first subject. I only spent 2 hours on this first portrait, it is really just an underpainting at this point.... size24x30, liquid acrylic on wood panel.
